Who needs it
- Existing companies whose login stayed with a former accountant or director, or whose password has been lost
- Companies with a new legal representative
- Foreign directors without a Turkish e-Devlet account who want the company's own access
- Owners who want to read notices and pay taxes online themselves, alongside their accountant
What we do
- Checking which route fits: online registration through e-Devlet, or an application at the tax office
- Drafting the power of attorney with the specific authority the tax office requires
- Applying at the company's tax office and receiving the sealed envelope with the user code and password, under your power of attorney
- Passing the credentials securely to the person you name
- A walk-through of the first login, the two-step approval and the parts you will use: e-Tebligat inbox, payments and notification forms
One login for the company’s tax services
The Digital Tax Office is the online environment the Revenue Administration uses to provide its services and to let taxpayers carry out their tax duties. It covers the website dijital.gib.gov.tr and the Revenue Administration’s mobile apps, and it is accessed with a password, an electronic signature or other security tools.
For a foreign-owned company, three things happen there. Official notices arrive in the e-Tebligat inbox. Taxes can be paid online. And some filings are made there directly — for example the CbCR notification and the global minimum tax notification for members of large groups.
Two ways to get access
A legal representative who has an e-Devlet account can register online with the option “e-Devlet ile Kayıt Ol” and obtain the user code and password that way. If the legal representative has no e-Devlet account, the second route applies: an application at the company’s tax office.
At the tax office, the legal representative applies in person, or a person holding a notarised power of attorney with specific authority applies on the company’s behalf. For an e-Tebligat application, Communiqué No. 596 has the tax office produce a sealed envelope with the user code and password at the time of application and record the handover in a signed delivery note. A power of attorney signed in mainland China or Hong Kong needs an apostille, then a sworn Turkish translation and notarisation in Türkiye. We send you the wording first, so the document is right the first time it goes to a notary.
Access for owners abroad
Having the company’s own login means you can see what has arrived and what has been paid without waiting for anyone to forward it. You can hold it alongside your accountant: we do the filings, and you can check them.
The credentials belong to the company, and the company is responsible for keeping them safe. We hand them only to the person you name. Two-step login now runs through approval in the GİB Mobil app, so we set this up with you at the first login.
If you are forming a company, the e-Notification application is included in the Professional package and already gives the company its access. This add-on is for existing companies and for later changes. Questions? You can write to us in Chinese or English through the contact page.
How it works
- 01
Check
We confirm whether the company already has a user code, and whether its legal representative can register online through e-Devlet.
- 02
Authority
If nobody can go to the tax office in person, the legal representative signs a notarised power of attorney with the specific authority required.
- 03
Tax office
We apply at the company's tax office. For an e-Tebligat application, Communiqué No. 596 has the user code and password produced at the time of application and handed over in a sealed envelope against a signed delivery record.
- 04
Handover and first login
We pass the envelope to the person you named and go through the first login with them.
What you provide
- The company's tax number and trade registry details
- Identity details of the legal representative (for a Ltd. Şti., its manager)
- A notarised power of attorney with specific authority for e-Tebligat and Digital Tax Office procedures, if the legal representative will not attend in person (signed in mainland China or Hong Kong: apostille, then sworn translation and notarisation in Türkiye)
- The name of the person who will hold the credentials, and a secure way to deliver them
Frequently asked questions
What can we do in the Digital Tax Office?
Read e-Tebligat notices, pay taxes and file certain forms — for example the country-by-country reporting (CbCR) notification form and the global minimum tax notification form. The Digital Tax Office covers the website dijital.gib.gov.tr and the Revenue Administration's mobile apps.
Our director has no e-Devlet account. Can the company still get access?
Yes. Without e-Devlet, the company's user code and password are obtained at the tax office — by the legal representative in person, or by someone holding a notarised power of attorney with specific authority.
How are Turkish taxes paid?
Taxes can be paid through the Digital Tax Office, the Revenue Administration's mobile app, contracted banks and PTT. If we keep your books, we tell you the amounts and the due dates.
We have ordered the e-Notification application. Do we need this as well?
Usually not at the same time: an e-Tebligat application at the tax office also gives the company a Digital Tax Office user code and password. This add-on covers the other cases, such as a lost password, a new legal representative or taking access back from a former accountant.
How does two-step login work for a director abroad?
The Digital Tax Office's two-step login now uses approval in the Revenue Administration's mobile app (GİB Mobil). We go through the set-up with you at the first login.
