Included in both packages

Bookkeeping and tax filing

We keep your company's books and prepare and file its recurring Turkish tax returns, signed by a licensed Turkish CPA (SMMM). This is the core of both annual packages.

Who needs it

  • Foreign-owned limited (Ltd. Şti.) and joint-stock (A.Ş.) companies in Türkiye
  • Investors forming a new company — formation and the first year of bookkeeping come together in the Professional package
  • Owners of an existing Turkish company who want to change accountant — the Basic package
  • Owners and finance managers abroad who need a clear view of what their Turkish company files and pays

What we do

  • Bookkeeping by a licensed Turkish CPA: up to 100 transactions a year in Basic, up to 500 in Professional
  • Monthly VAT return (KDV beyannamesi)
  • Monthly withholding and social security return (Muhtasar ve Prim Hizmet Beyannamesi)
  • Quarterly provisional corporate tax returns — four a year
  • Annual corporate tax return with the year-end financial statements
  • Monthly e-ledger (e-Defter) files and their approvals, once your e-ledger is set up
  • Your company's tax certificate (vergi levhası)
  • Deadline reminders by e-mail and a consultation with your accountant: 30 minutes a year in Basic, quarterly in Professional

Why a licensed Turkish CPA signs your returns

Turkish law does not require a company to sign a contract with an accountant as such. What it requires is a signature. Under repeated article 227 of the Tax Procedure Law, companies below annual size thresholds must have their annual corporate tax return, VAT returns and withholding and social security returns signed by a licensed Turkish CPA (SMMM). Large companies above those thresholds are outside the rule, so a new or growing foreign-owned company needs an SMMM in practice.

That is why bookkeeping sits at the centre of both packages. Your returns are prepared and signed by ETITAX, a firm of licensed Turkish CPAs whose roots go back to 1980. Our own software also checks our clients’ e-invoices and, where we have access, their e-Tebligat inbox automatically and regularly.

The filing year at a glance

  • Every month: the VAT return by the 28th of the following month, and the withholding and social security return by the 26th. The withholding return covers tax the company withholds on certain payments, such as rent paid to an individual landlord, and — once you have staff — salaries and social security premiums.
  • Every quarter: a provisional corporate tax return, filed and paid by the 17th of the second month after the quarter. From the 2025 period there are four a year again; guides that mention three are out of date.
  • Every year: the annual corporate tax return in the fourth month after year-end (April for a calendar-year company). The tax is paid by the end of the month in which the return is filed.

Two rules shape the numbers. The general corporate tax rate is 25%, and since 2025 corporate tax cannot be less than 10% of corporate income before deductions and exemptions (the domestic minimum corporate tax, article 32/C of the Corporate Tax Law). A company starting activity for the first time is exempt from this minimum for its first three accounting periods. Separately, no inflation adjustment of the tax balance sheet is made for the 2025, 2026 and 2027 accounting periods.

We also flag other yearly items for foreign-owned companies, such as the Activity Information Form filed through E-TUYS by the end of May. For a fuller picture, read our guide to Turkish taxes for foreign-owned companies.

Transaction limits

Basic covers up to 100 transactions a year and Professional up to 500. A transaction is each accounting entry we record: a sales or purchase invoice, a bank movement, a payroll entry. A holding company, or one that has not started trading, usually stays within 100; a trading company often needs more. You can add 2,000 transactions a year for USD 500 or 5,000 for USD 1,000 — see extra bookkeeping volume.

What sits outside the package

Moving an existing company to us

Basic is designed for companies that are already registered. We take over from your current accountant: opening balances, recent returns and a check of your e-ledger set-up. Before the first month we also check two year-end deadlines. A company that must use e-Tebligat but has not yet joined has to do so by 30 November 2026 — see e-Notification. And a company whose capital is below the new minimum (TRY 50,000 for an Ltd. Şti., TRY 250,000 for an A.Ş.) must increase it by 31 December 2026, or it is deemed dissolved; no extension had been announced as of 16 October 2026. Both are covered in our year-end deadlines guide.

How it works

  1. 01

    Onboarding

We open your company file, agree how you will send documents each month and, for an existing company, take over from your previous accountant.

  2. 02

    Monthly documents

You send the month's invoices, bank statements and contracts. We record them and check them against your e-invoices.

  3. 03

    Monthly returns

We prepare the VAT and withholding returns, file them within the deadline and send you a short summary of the amounts to pay.

  4. 04

    Quarter and year-end

Every quarter we prepare the provisional corporate tax return. After year-end we close the books and file the annual corporate tax return.

  5. 05

    You pay the tax

The company pays the tax due online through the Digital Tax Office or through a contracted bank, using the amounts and dates we send.

What you provide

  • Sales and purchase invoices that are not already in the e-invoice system
  • Monthly statements for every company bank account
  • Contracts behind regular payments: office lease, service agreements, loans from shareholders
  • Customs declarations and documents for imports and exports
  • Salary changes, new hires and leavers, if you have staff
  • Advance notice of major events: capital increases, new partners, new premises

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to send original documents to Türkiye?

No. Electronic copies are enough for us to keep the books. The company itself must keep its commercial books and documents for ten years under the Turkish Commercial Code (tax law requires five), so keep the originals safely wherever you are.

How does the company pay its taxes if we are abroad?

We send you the amount and due date of each tax. The company pays online through the Digital Tax Office (dijital.gib.gov.tr) or through a bank that has a collection agreement with the Revenue Administration.

What happens if a return or payment is late?

Late filing leads to penalties, and late payment adds late-payment interest for every month of delay — currently 3.7% a month under Presidential Decision No. 10556 (Official Gazette, 13 November 2025). Our reminders are there to avoid both.

Can we start in the middle of the year?

Yes. Packages run for twelve months from the start date, whatever month that is. For an existing company we take over the books from the month we start.

Can we write to you in Chinese?

You can write to us in Chinese or English — by WeChat (ID: etitax) or e-mail (info@etitax.com). WhatsApp (+90 532 061 99 83) may not be reachable from mainland China. Turkish books and returns are kept in Turkish; we explain them to you in English.
