How it works

Five steps from first message to a running company

  1. 01

    Consultation

Tell us about your plans on WeChat or by e-mail, in Chinese or English. We suggest a structure and confirm our fees and the expected government charges in writing.

  2. 02

    Documents

We send a checklist for each shareholder. Documents from mainland China and Hong Kong are apostilled where they are issued, then translated and certified in Türkiye. If no founder can travel, formation under a power of attorney is available as an add-on.

  3. 03

    Registration

Each foreign partner first obtains a Turkish tax number. We draft the articles of association, file the application in MERSİS, the trade registry system, and prepare the founders for signing.

  4. 04

    Tax office set-up

The trade registry notifies the tax office, which inspects the business address. We follow this through to the tax certificate and register the company for e-Tebligat, which new companies must join within 15 days of starting business.

  5. 05

    Ongoing compliance

We keep the books and file the monthly, quarterly and annual returns. You receive a short summary of the tax to pay and e-mail reminders when something needs your input.

Packages

Two annual packages, priced in US dollars

Unless a company is above certain size thresholds, Turkish law requires its main tax returns to be signed by a licensed Turkish CPA (SMMM). Both packages therefore include a full year of bookkeeping and tax filings. Prices exclude VAT: no VAT for clients invoiced outside Türkiye; 20% VAT is added for clients in Türkiye.

Basic

Bookkeeping and tax filings for a company that already exists.

USD 3,750 / per year

For companies already registered in Türkiye that want to move their bookkeeping to us. Company formation is not included.

Why ETITAX

A long-established practice, organised for clients abroad

I

More than four decades of practice

Mehmet Keskin founded the practice as Hilal Accounting in 1980. It became Keskin Accounting in 2014 and ETITAX in 2024. The founder holds an independent audit certificate.

II

Published fees

Package and add-on fees are published in US dollars. Government charges are paid at cost, and we confirm them in writing before you start.

III

One team, end to end

The licensed accountants who set up your company also keep its books and file its returns, so there is no hand-over between registration and the first tax return.

IV

Automated checks

Our own software regularly checks our clients' e-invoices and, where we have access, their e-Tebligat inbox for official tax notifications, and flags new items to our accountants.

New service

Country-by-Country Report (CbCR) notification for large groups

If your group is above the Country-by-Country Reporting threshold, its Turkish company files a notification with the Turkish Revenue Administration every year, even when the parent already files the report in mainland China or Hong Kong. Groups within Türkiye's global minimum tax may also need the separate notification introduced in 2026. We prepare and file each notification for USD 750; for the global minimum tax, the fee also covers GİB's General Information Form on the group where it is required.

How the notification works

Common questions

Do I need to travel to Türkiye to set up a company?

Not necessarily. The Professional package includes formation in which the founder signs in person in Türkiye. If no founder can travel, we form the company under a power of attorney signed before a notary at home and apostilled. Without a package, this complete formation service costs USD 3,000. Professional clients pay the full USD 3,000 on top of the package (USD 4,950 + USD 3,000). Government fees are extra in both cases. Opening a bank account is a separate step, and some banks ask to verify the manager in person.

Can a company in Türkiye be 100% foreign-owned?

Yes. A limited company (Ltd. Şti.) or joint-stock company (A.Ş.) can have a single shareholder, and that shareholder can be a foreign individual or a foreign company, such as a Hong Kong or mainland holding company. Some regulated sectors have their own rules, which we check for your activity.

Which package should I choose?

Basic is for companies already registered in Türkiye: bookkeeping and the recurring tax returns, without company formation. Professional is for new investors: it adds formation (the founder signs in person in Türkiye), an Istanbul virtual office address, the e-Tebligat application, a higher bookkeeping limit and a quarterly consultation with your accountant.

Are government fees included?

No. Our fees cover our professional work. Official and third-party charges, such as trade registry and chamber fees, notary and sworn translation costs and the Competition Authority share, are paid at cost. We confirm the amounts for your case before you start. Prices exclude VAT: no VAT for clients invoiced outside Türkiye; 20% VAT is added for clients in Türkiye.

How do we communicate?

By WeChat (ID: etitax), WhatsApp or e-mail, whichever suits you. You can write to us in Chinese or English, and our written summaries are in English. From mainland China, WhatsApp may not be reachable, so WeChat or e-mail is the more reliable choice there.

Planning your next step in Türkiye?

Send us a short message about your business. We reply with a suggested structure, a document checklist, our fees and the expected government charges.
