Who needs it
- Trading companies that issue or receive invoices every working day
- Online and marketplace sellers with many small sales
- Importers and distributors with frequent bank and customs movements
- Companies on Basic (100 transactions a year) that have started trading
What we do
- +2,000 transactions a year added to your package limit
- +5,000 transactions a year added to your package limit
- The same bookkeeping and filings as your package — only the volume changes
Why packages have a transaction limit
Every transaction is work. It has to be recorded, matched to a document or a bank movement, and carried into the monthly VAT and withholding returns. The package limits reflect a typical level of activity:
- Basic — up to 100 transactions a year. Suits a holding company, a company that has not started trading, or one with a handful of invoices a month.
- Professional — up to 500 a year, roughly 40 entries a month.
Both packages are described on the bookkeeping and tax filing page.
How to count your transactions
A transaction is each accounting entry we record. Take a typical month and count:
- sales invoices you issue, including e-invoices and e-archive invoices
- purchase invoices you receive
- movements on every company bank account
- payroll entries, if you have staff
A sale on one invoice that the customer pays by bank transfer is two entries: the invoice and the bank movement. Multiply your monthly total by twelve to get the yearly figure. If your volume changes with the season, use an average month rather than your busiest one, and tell us about the peak.
Choosing between +2,000 and +5,000
The blocks are added to your package limit:
- Basic + 2,000 = up to 2,100 transactions a year
- Basic + 5,000 = up to 5,100
- Professional + 2,000 = up to 2,500
- Professional + 5,000 = up to 5,500
Per transaction, the larger block costs less: USD 500 for 2,000 transactions works out at USD 0.25 each, and USD 1,000 for 5,000 at USD 0.20 each. For example, a company with about 150 entries a month records around 1,800 a year, so either package plus +2,000 covers it with room to grow.
When volume grows, other obligations often follow
Rising volume usually means a growing business, and that brings other duties. Once sales pass the statutory threshold, the company must move to e-invoicing — see e-Invoice. A growing team needs monthly payroll and social security filings — see Payroll. We raise these with you when your figures point that way, so the books, the returns and the e-documents stay in step.
How it works
- 01
Estimate your volume
Tell us roughly how many invoices you issue and receive and how many bank movements you have in a typical month. We turn this into transactions per year.
- 02
Choose a block
Add 2,000 or 5,000 transactions a year on top of the 100 (Basic) or 500 (Professional) already in your package.
- 03
Carry on as usual
Nothing changes in how you send documents. We keep count during your package year and tell you if you are heading for the limit.
What you provide
- Your current package: Basic or Professional
- A rough monthly count of invoices issued, invoices received and bank movements
- Your monthly documents, sent the same way as before
Frequently asked questions
Can I add volume in the middle of the package year?
Yes. You can add extra capacity at any time, for example when a new sales channel starts.
Does the limit reset every year?
Yes. Limits apply per package year, and packages run for twelve months from the start date.
Is the bookkeeping any different with an upgrade?
No. The same team keeps the books and files the same returns. The upgrade only raises the number of entries covered.
What if we need more than 5,000 extra transactions?
Write to us with your expected monthly volume and we will prepare a quote.
